Post Holiday Highlights

My little elves and I had a fun time making scrumptious treats for their teachers and therapists. Both of them are great bakers and always very eager to help me in the kitchen. Abby can now proudly cook a surprise breakfast for me, all my herself! Luke's favorite is to scrap carrots! If I scrap them without asking him to help me, I am in BIG trouble!

Some of the holiday treats we made were pretzel turtles, peppermint brittle, crunchy peanut butter balls, tiger butter and oreo truffles...yum!

This is the first year Luke has actually understood what was happening and that Santa would come to his house on Christmas Eve. Which came bittersweet since this is also the first year Abby has known who Santa really is...Luke couldn't wait to spread out his reindeer food on Christmas Eve. He was so serious about it! On Christmas morning, he had to go look and see if it was gone!

Yes, I told my husband, he will shoot his eye out.....
